Abraham “Abe” Benavides joined the Dallas office of McCall, Parkhurst & Horton L.L.P. in January 2017. Prior to joining McCall, Abe spent two years as an Associate in the Public Finance group of an international law firm in Dallas, Texas. He focuses his practice on both tax-exempt and taxable bond financings for 501(c)(3) entities. He has served as bond counsel, borrower’s counsel and underwriter’s counsel in revenue financings involving non-profit senior living facilities and hospital systems in Texas and other states. He also has extensive experience serving as bond counsel and underwriter’s counsel for transit authorities, cities, school districts, student housing projects, hospital authorities and university systems.
